DAY 5 | WELCOME TO LAKE GARDA

Picture
Sirmione is one of the most popular sights on Lake Garda -images of the castle at the entrance to the old town and the Roman ruins on a promontory feature in every information booklet about Lake Garda.
As an important strategic point, Sirmione was continually engulfed in the turbulent history of northern Italy, whether it was through the waves of invasions following the fall of the Roman Empire, the expansion of the Lombards, or the intricate struggles between the Guelphs and the Ghibellines in the Middle Ages.

DAY 6 | VALPOLICELLA WINE TOUR

Valpolicella is a hilly area between the city of Verona and Lake Garda. In this region, wine production has ancient traditions that date back to Roman times, if not even further. The name Valpolicella comes from the Latin words "vallis cellae polis", which means "valley with many cellars".
Once here, you can combine the best of what this region has to offer: spectacular views, excellent wine and food, and historic architecture. In fact, this area is rich in history, from the remains of "pagus Arusnati", the villages of the ancient indigenous peoples, to the remains of Roman villas and temples, to the Romanesque churches and the many aristocratic villas.
